Higher Education Graduation

July and November 2011
Following a major review of the University's Academic Calendar, UWE is introducing July and November ceremonies from 2011. This will bring us in line with other universities and allow students to graduate as soon as possible after they complete their studies.

July Ceremonies
All foundation degree students, undergraduate students and postgraduate research degree students who have had their award confirmed by an award board by Friday 1 July 2011, will be invited to attend the July Awards Ceremonies.

November Ceremonies
Students who have formally accepted an interim award offered by an award board, regardless of when they accepted, will be invited to attend the November Awards Ceremonies.

All postgraduate taught students (regardless of the date of the award board eg Feb, June and Sept) will be invited to attend the November Awards Ceremonies. Also any foundation degree students, undergraduate and research degree students, who have had their award confirmed by an award board between Friday 1 July and Wednesday 14 September 2011.

The Hartpury July Graduation ceremony will take place at Gloucester Cathedral on Thursday 21st July.
