Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Publication Scheme

Universities, further education colleges, sixth form colleges and all other “public authorities” are required to make information readily and easily available through a publication scheme.

This is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which promotes greater openness and accountability across the public sector.

Our publication scheme describes the information we publish, or intend to publish on a routine basis. The description is comprised of “classes of information” within which the actual documents available may change.

The main classes of information are as follows:

  • Governance
  • Financial resources
  • Human resources
  • Physical resources
  • Student administration and support
  • Information services
  • Teaching and learning
  • External relations

This prospectus, for example, falls into the class of information called Information services. All information is available in paper format.

Further information on the Hartpury College Publication Scheme and the documents within it should be requested in writing from the Clerk to the Governors at Hartpury College, Hartpury House, Hartpury, Gloucestershire, GL19 3BE.
