Simply the perfect stallion

Ragazzo is a stallion with an outstanding temperament, great charisma and a most positive approach to everything he is asked to do. He has been approved for more than 13 Studbooks across Europe, Australia and in UK for BHHS, SHB(GB) and AES. Ragazzo is graded ELITE by SHB(GB).
Ragazzo had a superior win at stallion performance tests in Germany 1994, receiving the highest score of 10 for conformation, character, temperament, willingness to perform, rideability and canter.
In 1996 Ragazzo became "Champion of the Future" at the German Stallion Championships. In Denmark he received the highest evaluation for his temperament with the second-highest total evaluation ever given!
Ragazzo is educated to Grand Prix level in Dressage and has many wins up to Intermediate I, among them the Nations Cup in Helsinki. He competed as “St. Ludwig's Ragazzo”.
Ragazzo has an enviable pedigree coming from one of the most prominent maternal lines in Germany. His mother, Pirola (by Pik Koenig), is a full sister to Pik Bube I and II. She is also the Dam of Donnerschlag. Ragazzo's father Raphael is one of Ramiro Z's most successful sons and needs no further presentation.
Ragazzo is incredibly consistent in producing impressive offspring with performance, temperament, fantastic movements and the looks that are needed to be competitive on the very tough international competition scene. His breeding index 2007 was, according to Jahrbuch Zucht, 130 for Show Jumping and 125 for Dressage (calculated on >300 German offspring). Also important is the high breeding index 125 for rideability, and 129 for canter. Ragazzo has 125 graded daughters in Germany of which 9 have been awarded the honorable title "Staatspremie Stute".
Ragazzo's progeny speak for themselves; Rubidoux won his stallion grading in Rheinland/Pfalz; Ratino (died 2007) won his stallion grading as a 3 year old in Stadl Paura and also the "Österreichischen Freispringchampionates" as a 4 year old. The Int'l GP horses Rossini Grande (winner), Montignay de Vernay and Uno Ragazzo (placed 3rd) participated the same year in the Young Horse World Championships representing Germany, France and Belgium.

Rialto Allegro (Rheinl.) qualified for the “Bundeschampionat” for six year old Dressage horses and three out of eight finalists at the Danish Breeders Championships were sired by Ragazzo, namely Ragman L, Ravelli and Robespierre O'Maine.
Ragazzo's daughter, Rosenstolz, won the mare classifications at Baden-Württemberg and another daughter, Rayana Chiara, (Int. GP Showjumper) sold as a 4 year old for €92 000 at the Elite auction in Verden, was the Reserve for Team Canada at Beijing 2008 only nine years old!
