Sandros Dancer is an elegant young and charismatic stallion with excellent conformation and movements. He has a wonderful temperament and is very trainable. He competed successfully in the four year old classes in England 2008 and in 2009 he competed with his owner in France, scoring over 70% in all his five year old classes and was 7th in the finals at Saumur! He is now back on English ground to be trained and competed by Stef Eardley who describes him as “a pleasure to ride. He has a natural talent for collection and enjoys his work. He is a sweetheart to look after and has the looks to match his personality - tall dark and very handsome!"

Sandros Dancer has outstanding competition records; in 2010 he entered 25 classes of which he won 14 (split 1st place once), placed second 6 times and third 3 times! The 2011 season (per 29/11) includes 21 classes with 9 wins, 4 second-, 1 third and 3 fourth. This makes amazing statistics: 48% winner and 81% in the Top Four! He has currently 163 BD points.

Sandros Dancer's sire is probably the most impressive Dressage stallion of modern times; the jet black Sandro Hit, who is said to have started a new dynasty in the world dressage scene and rewriting sporting and breeding history. He was German National Young Horse Champion, and Young Dressage World Champion. His progeny are breaking all price-records and regularly winning championships and Approval Championships.  Sandro Hit has produced ten Bundeschampions to date including Poetin, Showtime, San Rubin and Sir Donnerhall, as well as Grand Prix World Cup qualifier winner, Salieri. One of his first sons, Samba Hit (full brother to World Champion, Poetin) is a very successful competitor at Prix St Georges / Inter I level. According to Jahrbuch Zucht 2007 Sandro Hit has a very high breeding index for Dressage (140) with 144 for trot, 143 for canter and 125 for rideability. He has produced 477 graded   broodmares of which 37 has gained the honourable “Staatsprämie stute” title, and 101 graded stallions of which 95 has passed the stallion test.

Sandros Dancer's Paternal Grand Sire Sandro Song was Oldenburger Champion Young Stallion and Main Premium Champion. His sire Sandro as well as his dam Antenne II were International Show Jumpers. The Paternal Grand Dam, ELITE mare Loretta is as a dominant producer virtually unbeatable. She produced the Reserve World Champion and Reserve German Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit and the very elegant 1st premium stallion Royal Hit. Her sire Ramino (by Ramiro) was Stallion Performance Test Champion, won team gold in SJ at the European Junior Championship in 1987  and later on five times Italian Champion. Welt As from the fourth generation is one of the most influential producers over the last years, amongst others he sired Olympic gold medallist Bonfire (Anky van Grunsven).

The maternal side of Sandros Dancer's pedigree represents traditional Swedish Warmblood genes that is the foundation of the success the breed has today in the sport and especially Dressage. The Dam Significant comes from the Swedish mare family 23, also known as   “Olivelungsfamiljen”, that originates from the Hanoverian mare Constancia, born 1917. The line has produced no less than 10 graded stallions in Sweden: Bellini, Magritte, Marquis, Orust, Brando, Vagant, Ibsen, Torboldt, Elizar and Chagall. The latter is sire of many International Dressage horses including Chirac, ranked 10th best Dressage horse in the world 1989 and Gaugin Du Lully who won individual bronze and team silver at the Olympic games in Seoul 1988 with Christine Stückelberger. Significant is actually line bred on Chagall. Elizar is the sire of the great Danish Warmblood May Sherif, himself a brilliant Dressage horse and sire of Olympic Dressage horses Andiamo (Otto Hofer) and Matador (Kyra Kyrklund).

Grand Sire is Kyra Kyrklund's beautiful Dressage horse Master who has been standing here in the UK for a few years and went back to Flyinge, the National Stud of Sweden in 2010. Unfortunately for the Swedish breeders Master died peacefully in his sleep on 8th March 2011.  Master was incredibly successful during his career, with 18 winnings of 21 entries, including World Cup where he placed 6th at the WC Finals 1998. As a sire he is graded ELITE in Sweden, and he has proved himself as a Dressage producer of importance. Master has been on the WBFSH Dressage sire rankings as 7th (2007, 2008) and 9th (2009). His breeding index in Sweden shows a very high index for walk (140), trot (152), canter (141) and ride ability (156) based upon 170 tested 3 year old offspring. Master’s sire Ceylon is also the sire of many other excellent dressage horses, like Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff ’s Courage, two times Olympic Team gold medal winner and Ulla Håkansson's Cesam (Seoul -88).  Ceylon’s sire, Jovial, also sired the Olympic Dressage bronze team medallist Ajax (Ulla Håkansson) and the Olympic Eventing bronze medallist Sarajevo (Jan Jönsson).

Maternal Great Grand Sire Chapman was Champion at his Swedish stallion performance test and received 9-10 for jumping under saddle and 40 points for conformation.  He was graded ELITE and ranked in the top ten of the Swedish breeding index with numerous offspring competing at international level;  for example Charlatan, Rasputin (winner of the 2007 Japanese Dressage Championships), Donna Prescelly, and Ten Points. Chapman has also produced 7 approved sons (Baryshnikov 867, Copain 900, Rambo 910, Camaro 918, Tutanchamon 1079 in Sweden, Cezanne 9025 and Gulliver´s Travels 9066 in USA).

Chapman himself was competed by Per Johansson his entire Grand Prix career and they were one of the top Swedish combinations in the '90s. He regularly competed and placed in the top at the Swedish National Dressage Championships. Chapman and Per competed at the 1994 World Equestrian Games in The Hague, where they placed sixth with the Swedish team.
