Valesco a stallion of great quality substance with an excellent temperament, incredibly fresh and sound for his age. During his competition career he posted double clears in all three horse trial events as a five year old before concentrating on his show jumping career. He was accredited onto the BSJA Stallions Silver Performance List, with Grade A with winnings in excess of £2,000 and was exceptionally consistent being placed at the Amateur International Show in both team qualifiers as well as the Grand Prix. Valesco also accumulated approx 100 BD points in a very short time with percentages ranging from 63% - 76%. In his first eleven outings he was never placed lower than third and he also qualified for Winter Championships.

Valesco's sire J'T’Adore sired many graded stallions and top competition horses, like the impressive Unadore de Rouet (jumping index of 171!) and Cartier D'Or (Haras Nationaux). Cartier D'Or's full sister Vic du Vass produced the impressive Jarnac, stallion Champion an Int'l Show Jumper. J'T'Adore is via his daughter Vanille de Tertre Grand sire to top Eventer Opgun Louvo who helped place the Selle Francais Stud book at the top of FEI/WBFSH rankings 2011!

J'T'Adore competed in the 1984 Olympic Games Los Angeles under Eric Navet and was a member of the French Nations Cup team for a number of years, with winnings over £40,000. His many successes include finalist in the Volvo World Cup in Vienna, 2nd in the Grand Prix at Hickstead and Gothenburg. Double clear Nations Cup at Hickstead and La Chapelle. 2nd Grand Prix in Barcelona . His half brother Surioso sired Olympic show jumper Belle De Mars. His sire Brilloso is also the sire of Dallas; a Grade A Show Jumper who sired Hello Feliz, Dextar lV, and Hello Oscar ridden by Geoff Glazard. Valesco's paternal Great Grand sire Furiosoxx was a thoroughbred that is considered one of the most important TB stallions used for the foundation of modern times sport horses. He sired more than thirty international and ten Olympic show jumpers including Mexico, Texico Du Parc (Spain ’84 Olympics) Laeken (Member of many winning French nations cup teams) and Furioso ll who was exported to Germany and helped Oldenburger Verband in particular to produce top quality competition horses with winnings well over l million DM. More than fifty-five of his sons have made graded stallions. Another of his sons; Futuro, sired the legendary Everest Forever. More than 50% of the top 20 at Aachan and Athens go back to Furioso!

Valesco's maternal side belongs to Selle Francais mareline 1223. His dam Monica V reached 26 years of age and produced a number of good sport horses, mainly Show Jumpers; Ca Sange (full brother to Valesco) winner of Amateur GP, Fineca du Vignoult (by Paladin des Ifs), Iaca du Vignoult (by Urleven du Pironniere) and Hozaca du Vignoult (by Uzelien) competed successfully at 120-130cm level. Monica IV's brother Prince du Domaine (by Ukase) was approved with ANSF and the mare line also produced good stallions like Artilleur (Holland), Barca du Mesnil (SF), Harlequin du Carel (SF, ISH), Tenaroa Capitelles (SF), Kildare du Carel (SF, Haras Nationaux), Rocky du Carel (SF).

Maternal Grand sire Elf III competed SJ ant international level. He was ranked among the top sires in the 19080's and was 4th in the top of sires of young competition horses in 1981. Among his most famous offspring you'll find Kaoua II (Olympic Games 1984), Kenyatta, Osyris, Parafa and Pelfe D'Or. Elf II is ¾ brother to the famous Alme´- one of the most improtant SJ sires in modern times; sire of stallions like I Love You, Galoubet and Jalisco B, the latter holds the record for siring most offspring at Olympic Games.

Valesco's progeny have competed at the final of the Burghley Young Event Horse, many are winning showjumping, dressage and he has advanced eventers to his credit. He also passes on his movement and wonderful kind temperament – people refer to him as “the gent.” He has 87 off spring in the UK working in all disciplines such as Vienna, Madmarston Wispa, Luckhurst Vasco De Gamma, Valcasar, Basil Boli, Vertical Limit, Vive La Dream, Valesca Rose, Piece of Cake and Vosca, to mention a few.
