Stabling

The yard is split into American Style barns. Designated areas are allocated for DIY horses, C, D, E, F, G, I, J and K barns.

Stable allocation takes place one week before the start of term; you will be given your stable number on arrival at the Yard Office. All of our stables are of a similar size, however if you have a horse over 17hh please let the Centre Administrator know and every effort will be taken to allocate you a larger stable. It is very important for your horse’s safety that you complete the name plaque which is outside your stable, with your contact details and keep it up to date. We may need to contact you at any time.

If your details are wiped off or the plaque is lost, stolen or eaten(!), please ask your barn supervisor for a replacement. We will provide pens for each barn for these plaques.

DIY Noticeboard – this is sited on the main yard hay barn and there is another within the Hartpury Arena. Please check the noticeboard on a regular basis, as this is the primary method of communicating important messages and information from Yard staff.
