  • Help with a specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia
  • Guidance on appropriate materials and equipment
  • Loan of equipment

  • Help for physically-disabled students
  • Help for students with mental health difficulties
For Higher Education Students

After you have been offered a place on one of Hartpury's higher education courses, please contact your Local Education Authority (LEA) to apply for a 'Disabled Student's Allowance.' This will help you pay for the cost of any support you may require throughout your period of study. After you have received confirmation of your allowance, Hartpury and the University of the West of England can assist you in arranging the support..

We will be very pleased to discuss in further detail how Hartpury can help you realise your potential. Any discussion of your needs arising from learning difficulties and disabilities will not affect your application.

If you have any queries about the support that the College offers please contact Claire Tomalin, Learning Support.
