Loughrey selected for England Squad

Former Hartpury College Golf Academy student, Ben Loughrey, has recently been selected for the full England Squad for the 2011-2012 season.  Having been part of the England A Squad between 2009-2011, Ben’s consistency over the past couple of years (which saw him finish 10^th on this year’s Titleist Footjoy Order of Merit) has meant that he has now been promoted to the full International squad.

Ben has already represented England on numerous occasions, including this year’s Home Internationals and the biennial match against Spain.  He was also part of the winning Ashes team in Australia at the start of 2011 and his consistent performances have seen his handicap reduce to +3.
