Walk Pint Pie Rugby

On 25th February, local charity Cotswold Care Hospice is raising money with their Men’s Walk 2012. This year they are offering a choice of two walk distances - 5 miles or 10 miles. Both will start and finish at Kingsholm Rugby Football Club, home to Gloucester Rugby Club.

Everyone who takes part will enjoy a ticket to watch the live Gloucester vs. Harlequins match at Kingsholm Stadium, a voucher for ‘pie and a pint’ at the Shogun Bar and a Raging Bull Men’s Walk t-shirt to wear on the day.

All money raised will go to support the work of Cotswold Care Hospice. It costs £2.4 million each year to provide services offering support to the people of Gloucestershire with life limiting illnesses. The Hospice at Home nurses support patients and their families at home, allowing the patient to live their final days at home surrounded by their families. All services are free of charge but with the huge challenge of raising £2.4 million annually, all support is greatly appreciated.

Note: minimum age is 12 years old and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
