Our aim is to help you continue to be a successful student achieving your academic and personal goals whilst gaining credit towards your Degree back home.
Information about working in the UK if studying for less than 6 months is available here [links to the UKCISA website]

Studying up to 6 months:
A student coming to Hartpury College to study on a programme for less than 6 months, do not have to apply under Tier 4. You can enter as a Student Visitor and non-visa nationals such as USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, can simply arrive in the UK and make an immigration application as a student visitor but you will still need to show confirmation that you have been offered a place of study in UK.
With this route there are some disadvantages:
Students are not able to work whilst in the UK, paid or unpaid and will not be able to switch visa categories; for example from student visitor to a general student visa under Tier 4. You would have to return home and make a new application. It will not be possible for anyone to be admitted as the dependant of a student visitor.

What Our Students Say:
Ashley Reimel, Centenary College, NJ, USA

“Hartpury College is very much like a home away from home. The support I have received during my transition to, not only a new school, but a new country has been fantastic! Hartpury staff are always so positive, which has been very motivating during my stay. I plan to rise to the challenge academically and embrace the chance to gain my own independence. It gives me great pleasure to persuade anyone to join the Study abroad program at Hartpury.”
Greg Lealofi, St Patrick’s College, New Zealand

“The facilities are better than I expected and everyone was very helpful and supportive. My tutors were great and the teaching was of a high standard, my overall time at Hartpury was really enjoyable.”
Katie Derer, Delaware Valley College, PA, USA

“The Hartpury College experience has proven to be one that I will take with me throughout my life! I have accustomed to a new lifestyle, culture, school and even the food! The Equine Program, specifically, has been an amazing opportunity to look into another country’s industry, regulations, and future improvements. A practical, well-rounded education is what Hartpury offers and it is worth the chance to see it in person! I will always remember the hard work and intense classes I had, but they seemed to balance with the great times I spent with other students in town!
