Agriculture BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

The course:

This Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma aims to produce highly skilled and motivated professionals who have the essential knowledge needed by the agricultural and land-based industries. The course has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to gain detailed academic knowledge and understanding of all aspects of farming, including production, husbandry and management, through both theory-based and practical sessions. The excellent facilities and resources on campus will bring your academic studies to life, enabling you to study life on a large commercial farm first hand as you participate in farm duties. You will also be able to gain vital work experience during your year working in the industry.

Academic progression:

When you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (dependent on grade) along with a recommendation from your course tutor you can progress on to university at Foundation degree or Honours degree level.
