Countryside Management (Game) BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

The course:

This Level 3 Extended Diploma prepares you to enter the multidiscipline profession of Gamekeeping. Gamekeepers watch over vast areas of the British countryside, their role being to manage the conservation of the wildlife and habitats within their charge. They need to have the ability to manage resources and people in order to deliver successful sporting days, to produce game meat as food and to meet the high quality standards laid down by the Shoot Assurance Scheme.

The wide range of teaching resources on campus, including the Home Farm Estate, will bring your academic studies to life, enabling you to study subjects such as shoot management and game bird production first hand.

Academic progression:

When you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (dependent on grade), you can progress on to university at Foundation or Honours degree level.
