Farm Mechanisation BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

The course:

This Level 3 Extended Diploma combines the two specialisms of farm machinery and agriculture. You will be trained in the operation, service and repair of a wide range of arable and grassland machinery. You will also have the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of agricultural principles, practices and management, through both theory-based and practical sessions.

The excellent facilities and resources on campus, which include a purpose-built CLAAS Workshop, will bring your academic studies to life, enabling you to study life on a large commercial farm first hand. You will also be able to gain vital work experience during your work placement in industry.

Academic progression:

When you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (dependent on grade), you can progress on to university at Foundation degree or Honours degree level.
