The course:
If you are looking to pursue a career in the operation of agricultural machinery, this Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma has been developed to provide you with the practical knowledge and skills the industry requires. The course will cover both the theory and practice of working with farm machinery, including workshop skills, machinery operation and crop production. Practical experience is a vital element of this course. The teaching takes place on the College’s own Home Farm with much of the fieldwork being carried out by Farm Mechanisation students, from cultivation and drilling through to harvest.
Academic progression:
When you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma Farm Mechanisation at merit or distinction level along with a recommendation from your course tutor, you can progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Diploma Farm Mechanisation.
