Horse Care BTEC Level 2 Diploma

The course:

This Level 2 Diploma will provide you with the opportunity to gain a sound knowledge and understanding in horse care and riding through theory-based and practical sessions. Daily yard duties form an important aspect of the course, enabling you to develop skills that are needed to work in riding schools, livery yards and stud farms.

Academic progression:

If you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 2 Diploma Horse Care at merit level, along with a recommendation from your course tutor, you can progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Horse Management. If you have achieved outstanding results on the Level 2 and have an excellent recommendation from your course tutor you may be able to progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management.
