Outdoor Adventure BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

The course:

This Extended Diploma has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to gain detailed knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Outdoor Adventure complemented by industry-recognised qualifications and practical experience of the industry. You will have access to the excellent outdoor adventure centres based within the local area, enabling you to immediately put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom which will include outdoor and adventurous expeditions, principles and practices of outdoor adventure, assessing risk in sport, organising sports events and leading water-based outdoor and adventurous activities.

Upon successful completion of the Extended Diploma you will have the skills and confidence needed to manage and lead within an outdoor adventure environment.

Academic progression:

When you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Outdoor Adventure, you can progress to higher education at Foundation degree or full Honours degree level, dependent on your overall achievement.
