Outdoor Adventure BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma

The course:

This Subsidiary Diploma has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to gain detailed knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Outdoor Adventure complemented by industry-recognised qualifications and practical experience of the industry. You will have access to the excellent outdoor adventure centres based within the local area, enabling you to immediately put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom which will include outdoor and adventurous activities, skills for land-based and water-based outdoor and adventurous activities, anatomy and physiology in sport and assessing risk.

Upon successful completion of the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma you will have the skills and confidence needed to manage and lead within an outdoor adventure environment.

Academic progression:

If you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma Outdoor Adventure, you may be able to progress to higher education at Foundation degree or full Honours degree level, dependent on your overall achievement.
