Diploma
The course:
The Subsidiary Diploma is aimed at students who are serious about pursuing a career in the uniformed public services. It will provide you with the opportunity to gain a realistic understanding of the features of each service and the expectations they have of serving members of the public. Areas of study include government, policies and the public services, leadership and teamwork in the public services, police powers, citizenship and diversity. The course will also include a range of day trips, careers talks, visiting speakers, residential and study tours.
Academic progression:
If you have successfully completed your BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary or Diploma Uniformed Public Services you may be able to progress to higher education at Foundation degree or Honours degree level, dependent on your overall achievement.
