General Entry Requirements

• BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate – At least four GCSEs at grades D to G.
• BTEC Level 2 Diploma – Two GCSEs at grade D or above in any subject.
• BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma – Two GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be
• English Language together with either Mathematics or Science.
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Successful completion of a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in a relevant subject. Direct entry from other qualifications may be possible and will be determined at interview.
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma – Five GCSEs at grade C or above which must include
• English Language and Mathematics.
• A level programmes – Six GCSEs at grade C or above, which must include English Language, Mathematics and Science.

There may also be additional grade requirements for individual programmes.

The College reserves the right to determine the relevancy of your qualifications to courses, or make alternative offers where appropriate. Acceptance of your application is also subject to receipt of satisfactory references from your previous educational institution.

Applicants who plan to progress on to university should be aware that grade C in English Language and Mathematics is a requirement.
