National Qualifications Framework

We offer a variety of different entry levels and all of our courses are focused on progression, whether into employment or higher education. Hartpury is also a great transition to university, offering a range of Foundation degrees, degrees and postgraduate study in partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE).

The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) chart demonstrates how different qualifications allow you to progress from one level to another.

BTEC qualifications: In September 2010 the titles for BTEC qualifications changed. The qualifications themselves have not been greatly altered but the new titles are a result of the new Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) created by the qualification regulator Ofqual. Please refer to the table below which lists both the new and previous titles.
