Hartpury was founded as an agricultural college 60 years ago and has consistently provided vocationally relevant qualifications for learners attending college full-time. It has also provided for a long time apprenticeships in agriculture and a range of short courses. The agricultural unit within Hartpury Business engages with and delivers the apprenticeship programmes under Bryan Chivers and the land-based short courses through Nikki Perry.
