Hartpury Research

UWE Hartpury recognises the importance of Research in Higher Education. All members of Higher Education staff are involved in some kind of Research, Scholarly Activity or Knowledge Transfer. As an institution, we support individual staff members as they conduct their own research projects, often published in National and International Journals. In addition to individual pieces of Research, we also co-ordinate groups of staff who work on collaborative and innovative projects which make use of the state of the art facilities on offer at Hartpury.

Furthermore, every year we support hundreds of Undergraduate projects and many Postgraduate Dissertations across a whole range of subject areas.  We are committed to ensuring that our teaching is informed by Research, and that UWE Hartpury students benefit from opportunities to conduct worthwhile projects on contemporary issues relating to their studies.

Information on our current Research Groups can be found below and to the left of this page. For further information relating to any Research activities at UWE Hartpury, please contact Dr Mary Farrell
