apply
GA awards are available to both new applicants and existing students.
The deadline for applications is 1st July, 2012. Late applications will be considered only if places remain available.
New Applicants
Students who are offered a place on a UWE-Hartpury postgraduate programme are eligible to apply for the scheme. The application form below should be completed and returned to the HR department along with a CV and reference.
Current Postgraduate Students
If you are a current postgraduate student, and wish to apply or reapply for the scheme Please complete & return the form below to the HR department, together with your CV, a supporting letter and a reference from a supervisor.
What are my chances of gaining a Graduate Assitant post?
The scheme is competitive, in previous years we have typically received around 40 applications of which 20 have been short listed. We currently have 10 Graduate Assistant posts available, half of these carry the additional Bursary option.
What happens next?
All internal and external applicants will be considered by the College with a view to making a financial offer by mid August, 2012.
Interviews will be held between mid July and mid August 2012, Arrangements can be made in exceptional circumstances for conference call interviews where candidates are unable to attend in person.
Successful applicants will generally be telephoned followed by a formal offer letter and contract. Should you wish to accept this offer, you must sign and return the paperwork to us, the Associate Faculty will then take up references and apply for a CRB check. It is not possible to commence duties until this process is complete.
Successful GA’s will be invited to attend a welcome meeting in student induction week, details will be incuded in the offer letter.
