BHS Stage 1 Horse Knowledge and Care
Preparation
The course
This course is designed to be taken either as a revision course for candidates wishing to take the BHS Stage 1 Horse Knowledge and Care examinations, or for students who simply wish to improve their knowledge.
The course will cover the requirements and standards of BHS Stage 1, both in theory and practice. This course will not include riding. There will be no assessment at the end of this course

- Basic Grassland care
Entry qualifications:
None.
Additional Information:
Students are required to bring a riding hat to current BSI standards and appropriate warm, wet weather clothing and footwear. You may also like to bring a notepad and pen.
