The Amenity Horticulture (Sports Turf Maintenance) course will provide you with all practical skills and knowledge needed to enable you to be a proficient and effective greenkeeping and sports turf professional. Areas of study may include presenting and looking after sports playing surfaces and maintaining equipment and machines. You will also be able to meet and link with others within the sports turf industry, enabling you to share your experiences, exchange ideas and broaden your understanding of sports turf developments.

Opportunities to achieve certificates of competence in a range of areas relevant to your work are also available. For example: The Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 requires anyone who uses pesticides in the course of their business or employment to have received adequate instruction and guidance in the safe, efficient and humane use of pesticides. Therefore we offer the Safe Use of Pesticide Certificate of Competence - (Pesticide Training - PA1 & PA6) within your Apprenticeship.
