Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

The Teaching and Learning in Higher Education research group exists to bring together staff from a number of academic subject areas. We are interested in applied and meaningful research, which is interdisciplinary in nature and which is informed by practice.  Our work includes issues of pedagogy and participation, as well as wider issues in Higher Education.

We are currently working on two main projects, relating to ‘formative assessment’ and ‘progression.
