Dog Grooming Advanced Course

Course Objectives

This course is aimed at those who have already completed the dog grooming intermediate course.  This advanced course will cover grooming skills for all breeds of dog and should give the student the experience and speed to run their own business.  We will also guide the student through salon design, business and salon management as well as first aid.

Entry qualifications

Students should have completed the Dog Grooming Intermediate course.

Additional information

Students must wear suitable clothing and footwear.   Students may like to bring a digital camera to enable them to build up a portfolio.  Students are required to provide their own dog models for grooming.

The grooming room can be very warm so students may wish to bring some refreshment.

In order to gain a certificate, students will be required to complete a workbook (home study), complete practical assessments, have a minimum of 80% attendance and supply dogs specified for the course.
