Dealing Assertively with Conflict

 The Course:

This one-day course is for those who wish to be assertive in the workplace but avoid difficult or embarrassing conflict.  Aimed principally at those who are team members rather than team leaders, and who work with a variety of colleagues on the same level.  This is about gaining confidence, being assertive rather than aggressive and thinking about the situation before acting.

• What is conflict and how does it arise
• Examining ourselves to understand conflict
• What is assertiveness and what is not assertiveness
• Conflict situations
• Methods to be assertive
