The First Aid at Work (Statutory) course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is aimed at anyone who has not attended a first aid course run by a recognised organisation during the last three years.

  • Dealing with a first aid incident effectively
  • CPR – 2005 Guidelines
  • Dealing with an unconscious casualty and the Recovery Position
  • Dealing with a casualty who has:
    • Sustained a bleeding injury
    • Been poisoned
    • Been burnt or scalded
    • An eye injury
    • An airway obstruction
    • A heat or cold injury
    • A fracture
    • A muscle injury
    • A spinal injury
    • A head injury
  • Dealing with casualties who are suffering from minor or major illness
  • Understanding the Chain of Survival
  • Additional subjects can be added and tailored to meet the client’s requirements.
