Overview

This course has been designed for students working within a supervisory role in the Greenkeeping or Sports Turf industries. The course will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to manage the construction and maintenance of Sports Turf.

On completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship you will be able to:

• Manage yourself, others and information to ensure an efficient use of resources
• Create grassed and planted areas
• Estimate resource requirements and programme work
• Manage sports turf and planted areas
• Manage drainage and irrigation systems
• Prepare and maintain equipment and machines
