Having studied Geography & Environmental Management at UWE, Bristol Helen went on to complete a Masters at Harper Adams University in Sustainable Agriculture.
In 2009 Helen joined the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group in Somerset as a Farm Conservation Adviser and continued in this roll until joining Hartpury. Helens main research interests are in the impact of agri-environment schemes on grassland species diversity, and linking farming and conservation. She continues to have an active role in farm consultancy and a family sheep farm.
