Jessica became a student at Hartpury in 2010 after working in the industry as a head girl and freelance rider.
She attained her BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at Hartpury and then went on to complete her Masters by Research in Equestrian Performance. Jessica teaches a range of equine science and performance based modules across all levels. She is also an undergraduate dissertation supervisor and work placement tutor.

Research/scholarship interests: Jessica is interested in the performance of competition horses and riders. She also has a keen interest in horse and rider injury. Jessica’s post-graduate thesis investigated the prevalence of equine obesity and the impact it has on performance.
