Environmental Studies will enable you to gain a well informed insight into the environment and the scientific processes that control and affect it. You will develop an understanding of how different events and cycles within the environment are interrelated and how they influence subsequent environmental events. Human impact is considered and strategies that can be used to minimise problems is explored. Environmental Studies encompasses global and local issues and highlights how they are connected.

Five GCSEs at grade A*-C, which must include English Language, Mathematics and Science.
To study A-level Environmental Studies you will need: Grade BB or above in GCSE Core and Additional Science or a single science subject.
Students under 19 years of age on 31 August 2016: Tuition is free for the duration of your course (full-time courses only).
Educational visits charge: An annual £65 fee is payable for all Further Education students and covers the cost of outside visits, the engagement of special speakers and a contribution to the cost of administration.
When should I apply
We welcome applications for September 2016 entry from October 2015 onwards. You do not have to wait for your GCSE results.
