Level 2 Diploma Horse Care

Course Overview

If you want an understanding of what an equine career involves, this course is an excellent introduction to all aspects of horse care and riding.

Studying the theory units will ensure that you have an appreciation of the importance of correct horse management and an increased understanding of how the equine bodily systems interrelate to each other.

You will be involved in the daily care of the horses through practical hands-on experience on the yard, which will ensure that you develop the practical skills necessary to gain employment within the equine industry e.g. a riding school or livery yard.

Our students have gone on to some fantastic careers in a wide range of industries and enjoyed some exceptional work placements all over the world, helping them open doors to their dream careers. You can read our students’ stories here
