Integrated Masters

New for September 2015 - study for your degree and a Masters at the same time!

Our two new Integrated Masters courses will give you a head start in the Sport or Equine industry, as well as providing a unique opportunity to fund both your undergraduate and postgraduate study, through a student loan*

From September 2015, we will be offering Integrated Masters programmes in Sports Coaching and in Equine Science. By combining your Bachelors and Masters degrees into one four-year programme, you will feel more supported as you progress to postgraduate study.
You will benefit from a personal academic tutor and small group seminars as well as access to peer support by current Masters students, while ‘live’ industry-based projects will ensure graduates stand out from the crowd in their chosen field.

This course, the only one of its kind, in the UK, will provide you with enhanced employability prospects in the expanding and competitive equine industry, through the integration and development of transferable skills, industry links and research ready capabilities. Guest speakers from industry and professional bodies will regularly contribute to the programme.

Delivery in years one and two will parallel that of the BSc (Hons) Equine Science. This will then be followed by a combination of level 3 and transitional, masters level modules in the third year to prepare you for the final year of postgraduate study.

Topics include equine veterinary science, equine nutrition, anatomy and physiology, equine sports medicine and equine reproduction and behaviour and welfare. For more information click here

*Those qualifying for Student Loans Company support receive funding for the four-year course duration, enabling completion of a funded postgraduate degree
