ILM Level 3 Award in Coaching
This level 3 course is ideal for team leaders through to first line managers who wish to add to their management and leadership skills. This course will complement those existing skills by becoming part of the normal work role.
The ability to coach is essential to realise the full potential of individuals within our work teams. The style of this course is to keep delegate group numbers small to allow for practice and one to one interaction to allow delegates to find their natural coaching style.
To achieve the qualification requires attendance for two consecutive days at the College followed by a workplace observation.
During the two days you will cover areas such as :
The difference between coaching, mentoring and training
Concept and measurement of learning styles
Principal instruments of coaching
The implications of and use of the GROW model
The art of giving feedback
A self assessment of coaching abilities
The successful environment for the delivery of coaching
ILM membership is available free whilst training allowing learners to gain development support . ILM membership provides access to a wide range of online resources, news and information that have been specially selected to support management learning and implementation back in the work place.
