ILM Level 5 Award and Certificate in Leadership and Mangement
The Level 5 Award and Certificate are both ideal for those managers operating at a strategic level who are already established managers wishing to enhance their management and leadership knowledge by looking deeper at the issues facing them in the workplace.
The Award is completed over 3 days spread over 3 months and the Certificate is completed over seven days spread over seven months. This allows for the completion of the assignments based on the course content and delegates own independent research. These time frames also allow for the implementation of the course training back in the work place and for reviewing delegates results after implementation.
The course content includes a mixture of leadership and management theories, case studies, practical exercises using training input, syndicate exercises, interactive discussions and tutorials.
Areas of Study include such topics as critical thinking, employee performance measured against organisational goals ,emotional intelligence, self assessment, the culture of leadership, comparison of motivation models and theories and effective communication through professional presentations.
To complete these courses delegates have full access to the Hartpury Higher Education Learning Resources Centre.
ILM membership is available free whilst training allowing learners to gain development support. ILM membership provides access to a wide range of online resources, news and information that have been specially selected to support management learning and implementation back in the work place.
Hartpury Trainers who deliver these courses all have significant business and management backgrounds, which supports delegates in implementing the learning back in the work place.
All learners can gain free development support for six months with our Trial Membership package. ILM membership provides access to a wide range of online resources, news and information that have been specially selected to support management learning and development.
Progression from this course may be to the ILM Level 6 Award in Management which is a fourteen month course of independent research culminating in two assessed reports. Support is provided by five tutorials spread over the fourteen months.
Level 5 Award course cost is £560 (3 days delivery over 3 months, plus assignments)
Level 5 Certificate course cost is £1,100 (7 days delivery over 7 months, plus assignments)
