Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma Outdoor Adventure

Water activities

Course Overview

If you want a career in the outdoor and adventure industry then this Diploma will give you an introduction to the principles and practices of Outdoor Adventure, complemented by industry-recognised qualifications and practical experience of the industry.

The course provides a variety of practical activities including a water sports day where you’ll work towards National Governing Body awards in either sailing or canoeing. You’ll also take part in land-based activities such as climbing or hillwalking, again working towards vocational qualifications.

You will have access to the excellent outdoor adventure centres based within the local area, enabling you to immediately put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom.

Our students have gone on to some fantastic careers in a wide range of industries and enjoyed some exceptional work placements all over the world, helping them open doors to their dream careers. You can read our students’ stories here
