Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma Sport (Performance and Excellence) Rugby, Football or Golf

Course Overview

This course is designed to give students a strong grounding in all aspects of sport, with particular emphasis on performance and excellence in rugby, football or golf.

A mixture of theoretical and practical teaching, combined with our excellent on-site sports facilities will allow you to put into practice what you learn in the classroom.

All Subsidiary Diploma students will be able to attend all study tours, field trips and excursions associated their specific area of sporting interest.

Once you have successfully completed this course, you can progress to the second year of the Level 3 Extended Diploma (Performance and Excellence) programme in your specific area of sporting interest (subject to a successful interview and tutor recommendation).

GCSE

Two GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be English language together with either mathematics or a science

Tuition fees

Students under 19 on 31 August 2016 are free (full time courses only). Examination fees for main qualifications are also free.

Students aged 19 to 23 may need to pay tuition fees. We may be able to waive your fees if you are unemployed and receiving Jobseekers Allowance, studying your first full level 2 qualification or level 3 qualification. Please visit this page for more information.

Educational visits charge: An annual £65 fee is payable for all students and covers the cost of outside visits, special speakers and a contribution to the cost of administration.

When should I apply

We welcome applications for September 2016 entry from October 2015 onwards. You do not have to wait for your GCSE results.
