In the rugby, the BUCS first team overpowered Bristol firsts by 24 points in the BUCS Premier South A division, securing a 31-7 win.  The university third XV were also in action against Cardiff thirds and came out of Wales with a 28-5 victory. The Under-18s seconds were away to Henley College in the AoC Premier League and they secured a 100% win rate for all Hartpury rugby teams with a 33-14 win.

Hartpury’s junior football first team produced an excellent performance to thrash Birmingham Met Stourbridge first XI 10-0, and you can read the full match report here. The university first team travelled to Cambridge to take on their firsts, and they took all three points home thanks to a Scott Wilson goal, while the Under-19s second team managed to secure a 5-2 win away at Walford and North Shropshire firsts. The BUCS third team came undone against UWE firsts, succumbing to a 4-0 defeat in BUCS Western 2B.
