Hewitt homes in on Hartpury with Winter Championship qualification

Dressage scholar Lily Hewitt has recently qualified for the Winter Championships which will be held here at Hartpury following an impressive performance in the recent Regional Championship at Summerhouse.

Hewitt came second with 71.80% in the Advanced Medium Championships to qualify for the event which will be held at the college from April 6-10.

In other equine news, Tillie Newman had a couple of good results at the West Wiltshire Equestrian Centre. The showjumper finished first in the 1.20 and second in the 1.30 amongst tough competition – the event was won by Will Fletcher.

Hartpury student Hannah Gadras shone on the national stage as she clinched top spot at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Championships.
