Hartpury students loving life at Liverpool International Horse Show

Five Hartpury degree students from across equine and animal programmes gained some valuable experience working behind the scenes at a major equine event.

Catherine O'Hagan (BSc Bioveterinary Science), Cherith Wilson (BSc Equine Science), Grace Winham (BSc Equine Science), Jessica Paton (BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare) and Becky Jones (BSc Equine Science) were invited to help out at the Liverpool International Horse Show in December 2015.


They were supported by Paul Connor (instructor and consultant) and Jason Kilbey (BTEC equine tutor), who gave very positive feedback around the attitude and work ethic of the students.

A dramatic dash to Broadway Horse Trials in Worcestershire resulted in a last minute Badminton qualification for equine student Isabel Benbow and her Welsh Cob pony, Brynithon Scorpion.
