Students on the Level 1 Land-based Diploma in Animal Care headed to the nation’s capital for the London Pet Show.

Students on the Level 1 Land-based Diploma in Animal Care headed to the nation’s capital for the London Pet Show.

They got the chance to see hundreds of different animals, a range of displays and fun and informative talks and demonstrations, including from TV presenter Ben Fogle and Steve Backshall - presenter of BBC TV’s Deadly 60’s.

One of the highlights was undoubtedly the rabbit show jumping!
For many of the students, it was their first time to London so they took the opportunity to see some sights - the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Nelsons Column and 10 Downing Street. They even got the chance to see the changing of the guards at Horse Guards’ Parade.
