Hartpury Agriculture students visited the World Headquarters of JCB in Staffordshire to help improve their knowledge of the industry and of manufacturing the latest machinery and equipment.

The BTEC Diploma Farm Mechanisation and Land-based Technology students got the chance to see the complete manufacturing process - from laser cutting, robotic welding, painting and final assembly.

Their tour finished in the JCB Heritage Centre, where they got to see the company’s journey from a single garage and welder to 22 manufacturing sites across the world.
