Gloucester’s Sport Relief Mile is making its return to Hartpury with the college looking forward to hosting the charitable event for the third time.
Hundreds of local people will descend upon the college on Sunday, March 20th and run a mile around the campus to raise money for charity. Everyone is welcome to join us for the charity run!
Setting off from Hartpury’s Sports Academy, the route will take in the college’s woodland and commercial farm before runners cross the finish line in front of the rugby grandstand.
For those entering the event and looking to push themselves, three and six-mile options will also be available.
If you’re interested in taking part, you can enter now at www.sportrelief.com, get sponsored and help transform the lives of people living here in the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries, while being part of an incredible nationwide event.
Hartpury’s James Forrester, who helps run the college’s Sports Academy, said: “The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile is coming to Hartpury College again and it’s your chance to walk or run yourself proud. From little ones with their mums and dads to runners up against the clock, there’s something for everyone to make themselves feel proud on the day and raise money for a great cause!”
