Equine students shine at inter-college competition

A team of four Hartpury students put their equine skills to the test at a recent inter-college competition and rode to a first place finish.

Hanna Bertorelli, Amelia Humphries, Chloe Hulme and Gee Johns-Powell took on five other colleges and produced a strong performance in the dressage, showjumping and quiz sections respectively to finish top of the standings in the event held at Berkshire College of Agriculture.

After sitting in second place after the dressage and showjumping parts, Hartpury secured their first place after a strong quiz showing which saw them earn 33 points and finish four points ahead of second position.
