Silver success for all-action Animal Management student


A talented Animal Management student has achieved his silver Duke of Edinburgh award.


Connor Parnham, 17, who is a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management student, has recently completed his silver Duke of Edinburgh scheme.


He undertook four activities in four different categories to achieve the award, including engineering (skill category), kayaking and canoeing (physical) and volunteering.


Connor volunteered with the 1st St Andrews Beaver Group in Sharpness and took part in a three-day expedition in Cheltenham around Cleeve Hill while camping in the grounds of the Prescott Speed Hill Climb.
