Following Gloucester Rugby's final Aviva Premiership clash of the season against Northampton Saints, the Gloucester-Hartpury Women's team took centre stage with a 24-0 win over their Bath counterparts at Kingsholm.
With the earlier rain having cleared up, the game was an open, speedy encounter, with both teams showing plenty of ambition to move the ball and demonstrate their skills.
It was the Gloucester-Hartpury Ladies who enjoyed the lion's share of possession at Kingsholm, looking to build on another impressive season of development.
Despite a few missed try-scoring opportunities, the hosts were able to run in four tries overall thanks to Cat McNaney, Hannah Jones, Taz Bricknell and Charli Norman.
Head Coach Susie Appleby was delighted with the run out.
"It was a really pleasing end to a good season beating Bath 24-0, and the result puts us in a strong position moving forward into preseason.
"As always, we are looking to develop as a squad, and that involves the experiences our current team are having and learning from, but also picking up new faces to join the team."
