Equine student Slowley making rapid progress

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management student, Ella Slowley played a starring role on her horse Artisan II at the British Showjumping at Summerhouse recently.
She was first in the 1.15 metres and second in the 1.20m - the perfect preparation for the duo's upcoming outing in the the Amateur B tour at Hartpury's own Showjumping Spectacular in December.
She said: "We hadn't competed in over three weeks, so I thought I'd take him out to a local show and jump. He jumped fantastic, and i am really pleased with him. I've been having lessons with the Equine Academy and they are really helping me."
