Hartpury ready for Scotland and USA RWC clash

Hartpury ready for Scotland and USA RWC clash

A selection of our American and Scottish students and staff, including our very own Principal, had a fun face-off outside Hartpury House today as the two nations prepare to collide at the Rugby World Cup on Sunday.

Scotland, who have been at the college this past week as they used the campus as their Official Team Base, take on USA, who will be using Hartpury’s facilities in a couple of weeks, in their second RWC 2015 fixtures in Pool B.

And we thought we’d give each nation the chance to show their support ahead of the clash!

Principal Russell Marchant, from Dumfries, donned the navy jersey to show his support and he was joined by fellow Scot Laura Brown, a first year Veterinary Nursing Science degree student.

The support from across the pond was led by Hartpury equine lecturer, Darcy Murphy, and she was joined by Nikki Baroso and Sophie Hulme, two first year degree students in Equestrian Sport Science and Equine Science respectively.

All the best to both sides as we are completely impartial here at Hartpury… (Sorry Russell!)
